We had our annual field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Vineyard Garden Center. The children have a great time and I always survive, though I sometimes wonder if I am going too. We had the patch to ourselves this year on both days. We went a little earlier in the year and I think it was a great idea. We picked out a pumpkin to paint, played on the play ground and ate lunch. This the 4 year old class with their new school shirts. I think this was a great idea, they look cute and they are easier to find in a crowd. We are walking through the arbor and there was a giant banana squash hanging on the fence. Amazing.......
This is my 3 year old class.

Summer Extravanza
I finally have taken the time to start a blog. Larra, my daughter-in-law set up the original site but I am just getting around to learning how to add posts. We have had many changes the last year in our lives and it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. Our biggest change was adding
another member to our family. No not a baby but a husband for our granddaughter Kiara. Boone has been a great addition to our family. Roy and I haven't quite gotten use to having a Granddaughter married yet. We should be okay if we don't have Great Grandchildren for a few years. I'm okay with Nana but GreatNana is a little to much.
Here are a few pictures of the Wedding. I hadn't made a Wedding cake since Melani got married (about 15 years) but it was fun taking on the challenge. Larra said she had seen the fondant done on TV so we decided to give it a try. We made a trial cake and decided we could create one. The results didn't turn out to bad.
As you can see Kiara made a Beautiful Bride
